Bowls club dodge dangerous cricket balls

I am currently assisting the Rosehill Bowls Club, based in Rosehill Recreation Ground, who have complained about several cricket balls flying into their green from the nearby cricket pitch.

The bowls club report that their members had to dodge the hard leather balls, which could cause injury if it hit someone. This is the first time I have heard about this problem; the cricket pitch is a fair distance away so the men playing cricket must have been strong for the balls to reach the bowls green.

I have asked officers to investigate and we will see if there are solutions to prevent this happening again.
